Logo Digitizing — How It Works
Before your logo can be embroidered, it needs to be digitized — converted from a flat image into a stitch file that tells our embroidery machines exactly where to place each thread. This is a one-time process handled by professional digitizers who optimize your design for clean, crisp stitching on fabric.
What Is a Stitch File?
A stitch file (.DST, .PES, etc.) maps every needle penetration, thread color change, and stitch direction. The digitizer decides stitch types — satin for borders, fill for large areas, running stitches for fine detail — so the finished embroidery looks sharp at any size.
One-Time Setup
You only pay the digitizing fee once. After your logo is digitized, we keep the stitch file on record for all future orders — reorders use the same file at no extra charge. If you already have a stitch file from another shop, we can use that too.
Best File Formats
For the cleanest digitize, send us a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF). High-resolution PNG and JPG files work too — we'll review your artwork and let you know if any adjustments are needed before digitizing.
Size Matters
Embroidery looks best at specific sizes — a left-chest logo is typically 3.5–4" wide, while a cap front is about 2.5" tall. Very small text or ultra-fine details may need to be simplified for clean stitching. We'll advise on the best sizing for your design.
Embroidery Pricing & Minimums
No Minimums
Need just one hat or a single polo? No problem. We embroider orders of any size, from a single piece to hundreds.
Stitch-Based Pricing
Embroidery is priced per 1,000 stitches. A simple left-chest logo runs about 5,000–8,000 stitches. Larger or more detailed designs cost proportionally more.
Volume Discounts
Per-piece pricing drops as quantity goes up. Contact us with your design and quantity for an exact quote.
Why Choose Embroidery?
Embroidery creates a premium, professional look that stands out. Unlike screen printing, embroidered logos are stitched directly into the fabric, creating a raised, textured finish that won't crack, peel, or fade.
